TIME’s Top 10 Graphic Novels

“Graphic novel” is a term applied to any extended form of comics, including non-fiction and short story collections. TIME’s Andrew Arnold picked Watchmen and nine other comix masterpieces. Here are the top ten graphic novels, in alphabetical order by title.
